AUSTIN (KXAN) -- An Austin pet shelter is thanking people who stepped up to foster puppies who were recently found on the side of the road in Lockhart, but the shelter said it still needs support. The puppies arrived at Austin Pets Alive! after being found still attached to the umbilical cord of their dead mother, who was likely hit by a car, the shelter said. Austin Pets Alive! seeking fosters amid Central Texas heat wave APA! said each of the puppies is fighting to live and will require bottle-feeding around the clock every two hours. APA! immediately found foster homes for the "bottle babies" because so many felt compelled to help after the shelter took in the puppies found in a trash bag last month. They are fragile and only have a chance at life because of the supporters and fosters caring for them. With these fo...Fringe review: ‘101 Goofin’ Things’ lives up to its name with fun

Must seeThe Goof Goof crew lives up to their name in “101 Goofin’ Things”, which had adults and children laughing and participating alongside them. Liv Augusta Amrami and Phillip Schramm “perform 101 goofin’ tasks, randomized for your pleasure,” according to the apt description in the online program. For kids (and adults) accustomed to sitting quietly at the theater, being encouraged to take part (think Bingo, bowling with eggs for two audience volunteers) and interact with the actors was exhilirating. One child, age 10, begged to see the show again; not out of the question because each will be different.
