MDPD officer hospitalized after crash in Miami Shores during investigation A Miami-Dade Police officer was hospitalized after being involed in a crash during an investigation.The crash took place in the area of Northeast 105th Street and First Avenue, Tuesday night. 7News cameras captured the police cruiser, which sustained heavy front-end damage. A neighbor’s ring camera also captured a man crouching down under a car and waited until police officers left the scene but surrendered and was taken into custody. According to police, one person who drove a silver car in the area was injured and was transported to the hospital where they died. 1 dead, 2 injured after shots fired in Lauderhill; suspect remains at large A shooting that left one woman dead and two other victims injured in Lauderhill prompted a swift response by officers. Lauderhill Police and fire rescue arrived at the scene of the shooting at 5600 NW 28th St., Tuesday afternoon. 7Skyforce hovered over the scene where the woman’s body lay on the sidewalk. At the scene, officers were around a black SUV.The driver of the SUV, police said, jumped out of the vehicle with his gun and fled the scene.
