DENVER (AP) — The Colorado Rockies placed first baseman C.J. Cron on the 10-day injured list Monday because of back spasms.Cron left Sunday’s 4-0 win over Philadelphia in the third inning after popping out in his second at-bat. Cron knelt on one knee along the first base line and was looked at by team athletic trainers before walking off the field.The 33-year-old Cron is batting .228 with a team-high six homers and 20 RBIs. Miami-Dade Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units were dispatched to the scene of a reported suspicious package on a JetBlue flight at Miami International Airport.Jetblue flight #2892 was taxiing for New York City just before 9:30 p.m. Monday when the reports of the suspicious package came in. The plane was moved to a secured area at the airport and 144 Passengers were safely removed from the plane. Police are investigating. A large police perimeter was set up Monday night in the area of Biscayne between 96th Street and 108th Street.Authorities said they received a call about a robbery near Northeast Fifth Avenue and 72nd Street in Miami.They said that a gun was stolen, which led police to issue a Be On the Lookout advisory. 7News cameras captured Miami Police and Miami Shores cruisers stationed on the street as officers investigate the area.The suspected armed robbers took off and ended up crashing their stolen Mercedes in the area of Northeast Eighth Avenue and 96th Street and bailed out.Driver are being told to avoid the area as police search for the suspects. A SWAT unit also arrived to the scene. A street showdown over ducks in one South Florida neighborhood left one homeowner bloodied and bruised.The homeowner said he saw the two men on his property trying to grab ducks and he wanted them off his private property.
